Help Promote CECAP Online Surveys and Public Meetings
Posted on Feb 26th, 2021

The Fairfax County Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination released three online public surveys to gather the
input and feedback of county residents and stakeholders on issues pertaining to the development of the Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan (CECAP). These surveys are designed to assess what it would take for respondents to engage in voluntary climate action. The results of these surveys will help inform Working Group discussions and decision-making in the months to come.
You can find all of the surveys online here.
[1] Each survey is available in four languages – English, Spanish, Korean, and Vietnamese. The surveys will remain open until March 14 and are designed to mirror the structure of the planning process, with one survey dedicated to energy issues, and another devoted to transportation, development, and waste issues. This same structure will be used to frame the public meetings taking place this week
[2]. We have created a comprehensive promotional toolkit for your use, including sample social media language, sample email/newsletter language, and a wide variety of graphics. You will find the toolkit here.
[3] Please use these materials to help raise awareness of the surveys and the meetings as you are able.
Please don’t hesitate to be in touch with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
